I really enjoy making bunting, and give it as gifts for many different occasions. This year we have made Christmas bunting to send in the place of cards.

Ho Ho Ho |
I just made these little stocking fillers for family and friends. As I had little time to spare I used regal icing to save drying time. Aren't they lovely! Thank you to Eat Drink Chic for the packaging inspiration.

Merry Christmas |
Look at these gorgeous reindeer! I know two little boys that are going to love them! We make them using fabric from a reversible Ikea quilt (by far the cheapest way to buy good quality fabric I have found!). Thank you to Tori Jayne's blog for the inspiration:

Jingle all the way! |
My new wreath never fails to make me smile as I enter the front door. I bought the base for just £5! I added baked oranges (40 minutes at 160), fir cones from a wintry walk, cinnamon sticks tied with raffia and a gorgeous big bow!

Merry Christmas |
I have thoroughly enjoyed making a beautiful bath cap this afternoon, I am thrilled with how it has turned out! I used a white disposable plastic tablecloth as the lining, very cheap, but very effective.

The first of many! |
I rustled up this delicious refrigerator cake last night which has perked up mid-week no end! I found the recipe in an old children's party book which I remember from being a child:
50g butter
175g dark chocolate
2 tbs honey (I substituted this for golden syrup, which I love!)
250g digestive biscuits
Smarties to decorate

Yum! |
Had a brainwave late last night which was to add tiny dots around the centre of the poppies. Turned out much better than I expected and wasn't too tricky either. I'm not sure if I'll do the black outline next time though as when i woke up this morning it had run slightly-probably needed to leave it longer to dry before flooding. Nevertheless they went down a storm!
